Inquiry learning is intellectually active, question-based, personalized, authentic, open-ended, divergent and convergent, and transformative. In this chapter Barbara Stripling discusses inquiry-based learning in terms of the Common Core and the digital environment. She goes on to describe teaching students the skills needed for each stage of the inquiry process and how to assess them.
