Praxis II Library Media Content Test Needed: Yes, passing score is 156 or above.

Other Testing Needed: Yes, Praxis I: ETS-Pre Professional Skills Testing (PPST), submitting reading, writing, and mathematics scores that meet or exceed the state cut score. The state cut score can be found at:

Description: A Library Media Specialist needs a bachelor's degree and 26 hours of library media education. A Librarian Designate needs a bachelor's degree and 16 hours of library media education. A Library Media Director must have a master's degree.
