Kathy McGuigan, educational specialist at the Library of Congress, has created this short presentation to walk you through the amazing variety of formats and collections of primary sources available to you through the LOC. Although I am naturally drawn to the photographs and prints, Kathy's presentation reminded me of the diverse treasures that can bring inquiry alive in the classroom or school library, from children's books to recorded folk music to the Veteran's History Project to special exhibitions and digital collections to primary source sets on curriculum topics.
Kathy has also provided a PDF of her slides with embedded URLs, so that you can access the resources directly.
