Introduction [1:14]
In this course, Nancy Everhart discusses simple changes you can make to help students on the autism spectrum feel more confident and independent in your library. She discusses why students with autism often feel most comfortable in the library due to the relaxing and low stress environment. With the number of students diagnosed with autism on the rise, this course will provide you the resources to feel more confident in addressing behaviors and learning styles of students on the autism spectrum.
